Acorn’s first project opened in 1997. Oak House is a day centre offering treatment for individuals and their families affected by addiction. Treatment is a combination of group and individual therapies.Professional and highly experienced addiction counsellors help people to identify the true nature of their addiction and assist in discovering a life without dependence upon any substance.The negative energy that once fuelled addiction is transformed into a new positive force, fuelling recovery and a joy for living.

Quality Assurance

Acorn Project is one of the most closely monitored services in the North West. Our service users receive support with emotional and psychological issues including the promotion of social functioning, behaviour management and assistance with cognitive functioning.

Acorn Residential Services are accredited by Supporting People providing abstinence-based treatment alongside structured housing support. The services are monitored using the quality assessment framework and outcomes framework (QAF).
