Manchester
Our first residential project Acorn House, was established in 2003 and is commissioned by Manchester Supporting People team. The project provides abstinence based accommodation to some of the local community’s most vulnerable residents.
Acorn House is a large property situated in the Levenshulme area of Manchester and operates with H.M.O. License.
Stockport
Following the success of Acorn House, Stockport Supporting People has recently commissioned a similar abstinence service. Both services are staffed 24hrs a day by skilled residential staff with many years experience of working with addiction. The project accommodates a variety of service users coming from a range of backgrounds, although a significant proportion of referrals come from the criminal justice system.
Our aim is to provide residents with a safe and secure environment where they can continue their journey towards community re-integration.
